Living in Italy, near Venice :) We will be happy to help the host family with gardening, cooking, babysitting, animal care, general house maintenance and whatever else is needed.

Hello everyone,

We are Laura, Giuseppe and Linda, a young Italian family living in Veneto, near Venice :)

We have just signed up for Workaway as this summer we'd like to embrace a different and enriching experience, away from the hectic routine and the sometimes oppressive city life. We are looking for people open and happy to share their culture and traditions, with a healthy and a simple lifestyle.

We're happy to share a little bit about who we are and what we're passionate about.

Giuseppe currently works at a kiosk on the beach, but he is also a gardener and in the past has gained experience in the woodworking sector. He still has a passion for handmade woodwork and painting. His greatest passion is theatre and acting.
I work as a project manager in a communication and web agency. I love cooking Italian food (but I love also Chinese and Indian cuisine), dedicating myself to manual/artistic activities and I love dancing and acrobatic.

Linda is our 5 year old daughter, cheerful and sunny, she loves animals and being outdoors. She will be 6 years old in November and she attends the Rudolf Steiner nursery school, an educational method hat leaves ample freedom to creativity and artistic attitude of children, encouraging manual skills and respect for nature and all living beings.

Our mother tongue is Italian, but we also speak English and have a basic knowledge of German. We would love to learn about permaculture and off grid life in general, while practicing languages. We would be more then happy to teach some Italian if you like!

We are curious people, we easily adapt to different environments and we love to get in touch with new people and lifestyles :) We also want our daughter to grow up as much as possible surrounded by people who love and respect nature and are happy with little :)
