Hello, my name is Kayla. I am 29 years old from Canada. I just completed a permaculture design certificate in Perth, Western Australia && I'm looking for more opportunities for practical experience.

Beschreibung

I’m currently looking for a land-based placement where I can gain hands-on experience in permaculture and continue building practical skills. I’m especially interested in perennial food systems, water systems, beekeeping, mushrooms, bush food, and native medicinal plants.

I recently completed a Permaculture Design Certificate in Perth (WA) and have spent the past two winters volunteering with Activate, supporting regeneration projects.

I’ve been travelling since January 2024 and am now looking for a calm, well-structured environment where I can settle into a steady rhythm and contribute meaningfully.

I’m a clinical hypnotherapist with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, currently building my practice in Tākaka, New Zealand. I recently completed a 300-hour hypnotherapy and yoga teacher training in Thailand, have facilitated sharing circles over the past year, and offer akashic record tarot readings. When it aligns, I’m open to offering these skills in exchange for accommodation or meals.

I’m an independent, project-oriented worker who does best with clear tasks and a defined rhythm. I have four years of professional experience in animal welfare and have been pet-sitting for five years on a platform, so I’m confident and attentive around animals.

I value quiet, respect, simple daily rhythms, and I feel most at ease in environments where there’s natural flow and clear structure
