  Beschreibung

  We have a big yard with garden, pool, trampoline, swings and small orchard. We have 2 children (age 5, age 1). We live 10 mins to the base of our local ski/bike hill, and have countless mountian bike trails right out our front yard! Husband and wife spent most of our lives working in the mountains, as ski patrol and mountain bike athlete/coach. Our house is located only 5 kms from a big beautiful lake and ocean beaches. Cumberland is centrally located on Vancouver Island, and is ideal for exploring! We have family in Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler, Tacoma, Sooke and Tofino! Come help us take care of life for a while. I like to cook most meals, and we could use help cleaning our home and looking after the kids. Looking for workawayer 1 week/month to help keep us on top of chores. Might be open to longer term arrangement for for the right person.

  We have a big yard in an amazing town. Cumberland is the perfect mix of adventure, biking, skiing, hiking, ocean sports and arts/music. We get some incredible bands here and the music scene is really vibrant. We are centrally located on Vancouver Island and you can see so much within a few hours of driving, from old growth forests to world renowned beaches and incredible hiking/biking trails. Much less touristy than Whistler and Vancouver.

  Unterkunft

  You will have your own room in a big house, as well as a semi private bathroom and living room. House is two levels and we rarely use the downstairs bathroom and living room. I am a avid cook and love to make interesting and healthy meals. We eat meat but try to do a few vegetarian meals a week. We will feed you unless you prefer to buy your own food.
  Breakfast and lunch you're on your own to use the kitchen. There will be a selection of cereals, oats and sandwich fixings.

  We can help you get connected with many places in BC, especially resort towns like Tofino, Whistler, Vancouver and Victoria. We have lots of friends and family in these areas and can help you find interestingplaces to visit. We are low key mountain people. We don't like drugs, no pot smoking on the property and heavy drinking is not permitted. We are usually sleeping by 9pm and up at 7. Expectations include healthy lifestyle, family oriented and adventurous! The perfect fit would be someone who loves kids and cleaning and a cozy quiet evening to recharge on their own.
