Hello! My name is Josie. I told myself I would quit my day job (as a journalist) to go and travel the world before I turn 30. Now, I'm actually doing it! And I'm very excited. I've nearly always got a smile on my face. I love meeting new people from all over the world. I'm hardworking and I'm enthusiastic about whatever I throw myself into.

I'm learning to speak Arabic. I have an online teacher in Beiruit, Lebanon, but would like people to practice speaking with in person. I want to to improve my Welsh, the native language of the country I'm from (Wales, in the United Kingdom). I am a native English speaker and am always happy to help people speak English.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've got good people skills. I'm sociable and outgoing and love meeting people of all ages from all over the world. As a journalist, most of my job is about speaking to people and hearing their stories.
I'm a good cook and love spending time in the kitchen. I've volunteered as a head chef before, for a charity in Manchester in the UK, where I was responsible for feeding over 80 people.
I'm fortunate that English is my first language. I would love to teach people how to speak English if they are learning.
As a journalist, I can also help out with writing (in English), filming and editing videos and audio, and social media posts.
I grew up in the countryside in rural Wales; so I'm very comfortable in nature and am not afraid to get muddy!

Was noch ...

One of my favourite things to do when I visit a new place is to go to the local market. I would love to be taken there by a local!
I love to take photographs and will be bringing my camera with me on my travels. I love taking portraits the most and hope to take photographs of the people I meet on my travels.
I love the colour orange and will probably be seen wearing an orange jacket or t-shirt most of the time. I love music, having a dance, and I play some guitar.
