Hey there, I'm Josi. I’m 19 years old and very excited about this journey. My plan is to see Japan and if there’s still time before going to college I also want to travel through Scandinavia. When it comes to describing myself it’s really hard to find just a few things I like since I easily find interest in a lot of things. What always stays the same is my love for everything including working with animals no matter what animal it is. I worked three weeks in an animal shelter/sanctuary and have been riding since 2016. Additionally, I am volunteering in youth work, therefor I've gained a lot of communication skills not only in a personal matter but also especially when it comes to teamwork.

Over the past few years, I've developed a growing interest in everything that belongs to music. When I was younger I played the piano but sadly I stopped. Now I'm trying to relearn that knowledge and in-between I'm also trying my skills in playing the Guitar. One thing I could not live without is singing. Whether it is alone or with others. I joined a modern choir and I've really learned to love it.


Since my perception of myself is only so much I asked a few of my friends to describe me in one sentence:
- you are very funny (even though your jokes take a while) and I like that you are always very motivated and supportive as a friend as well as a team member.

- I'd say you are very empathetic, funny and very creative.

Update:
Since August 2025, I have been working at "Studienkreis" as a tutor. I teach English, German ( German as a foreign language), and math. My youngest has been 7 and my eldest 35 (those have been learning German as a foreign language).
In addition, I am working as a seasonal worker in a decor shop. This has been teaching me how to deal with different types of people and how to fulfill their needs in a way that is possible in my position. Furthermore, I have been working as a seasonal worker at the Christmas market as well.
I would say the experiences there are quite similar to those in the decor shop. However, I have definitely exercised my talking skills since working there. I have really grown into listening to the different Christmas stories everybody likes to share, as well as their personal traditions.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’ve got skills in various parts of life. I’m most experienced in social fields such as charity work or planing program with and for children/teenagers. Also I enjoy spending time with animals. In that area I’ve gained knowledge through my internship at an animal shelter/ sanctuary but also through riding since 2016.
Furthermore I’ve got some knowledge of carpentry, gardening, event planning, working with elderly and people with a disability, crafting and last but not least I really enjoy working in a team.

If it is possible I'd really enjoy trying out new food. Perhaps if you'd like you could teach me about a hobby of yours which we could then try participate in together.
And if there’s anything going on that includes music I’d really enjoy participating.
