Beschreibung
We are a mature couple travelling from Nova Scotia to Tuktoyuktuk and back this summer. We are looking for a few places to stay and help out between June-September 2026. We have our own camper van. Together, we have a wealth of skills including farming, computers and all aspects of building. We speak English, and Thomas speaks German as well. Looking for adventure and experiences!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Thomas is a builder with 40+ years of experience. He can do plumbing and electrical, and is a computer consultant with an extensive background in data base and accounting. Jayn is in the food service industry, specializing in exceptional service, event management and high quality food preparation. We run a small scale sustainable farm with some cash crops, and have experience in organic practices. We raise pigs on pasture each summer, and chickens for eggs. We had our own dairy cow for many years, and raised beef cattle.

Was noch ...
We have travelled extensively in Canada and in Europe, and relish in the sights, smells and sounds of new places! Our home is on the East Coast of Canada, in Nova Scotia. There we live in a very lovely intentional community called The Lorax Woodlands, and we value our local economy.

Excellent Workaway!! Carlo, Federica and their two boys were amazing hosts. We spent a week volunteering with them on their Agritourismo and loved every minute of it. We spent a great week with Diana, Standa and their two children. Our chores included planting onions and Lemon Balm seedlings, and we were glad to help start a new lean-to on the back of their house! We spent a week with Jenny and Geoff and it was quite an experience. They are kind hosts and we enjoyed learning about Jewish culture from them.
