Beschreibung

I'm a Creative Writing and Hispanic studies student at Concordia University in Montreal. Came to Toronto for a week's workshop and was enchanted with the city. I am a native level speaker of English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian. My degree included training in teaching Spanish as a second language. Additionally, I'm an intern and a future volunteer at the Renaissance Press dedicated to publishing minority writers.
It has been my dream ever since I can remember myself to work on a farm. I love goats and once wrote a short story about them. As a writer, I think there is something magical and fairy tale about goats. I also enjoy nature and think and write better when surrounded by nature.
I'm used to hard physical work, having worked in catering, cleaning, and as kitchen help for 3 years. I haven't got the right strength for lifting heavy objects, but I'm strong when it comes to endurance and can work many hours. I used to work around 13 hours a day, 6 days a week, which was how I was able to save up for a better future for myself and access the higher education I've always dreamt of.
My university has a very heavy course load, so I would like to take an opportunity to get to know Toronto before I go back to Montreal for my studies.
