Beschreibung

Recently started our 3 month travel in France, Spain and Portugal in our newly converted van! We have saved up for a year and decided to quit our jobs and leave our flat in Manchester behind ready to explore what the world has to offer.

Interested in a few volunteering opportunities and meeting lovely people along the way! We are going with the flow for this trip with no route in mind. We would love to continue our travels after July outside the EU zone. either in our van or with the clothes on our backs (preferably with a rucksack!)

My main skills are:
being a musician/songwriter/guitar, drums & ukulele teacher (15 years experience)

Bartending (8 years experience) side note: [i am sober now however i am comfortable with bartending still :)]

Barista (2 years experience)

Meditation (3 years experience + can also teach this! :)

Personal training with Weights / resistance calisthenics (4 years experience)

Author (currently writing a book about spiritual healing and getting getting sober! My life goal is to help others with this and combine the book with motivational speaking :)

Customer facing (I’ve been working in customer service for around 10 years! very comfortable with this)

Vegan Cooking (ive been vegan for 8 years and have mostly does home cooking from scratch in that time! ive hosted dinner parties for up to 15 people and im very confident in the kitchen, as well as cleaning up after ;)

Hi! I have recently graduated with a Biology degree and am very passionate about furthering my studies in the real world with issues such as sustainability and ecology.

Beginner level Spanish speaker, looking to develop this.

Social media/ internet literate, happy to keep up with trends and post on behalf of others.

Administration experience (1 year) in a higher education University setting, helping and guiding students as well as academics and professionals on how to use various software systems. Keeping to data protection laws handling sensitive information. Front desk type service answering multiple questions from international students and home students.

Presenting skills, I have comfortably presented to rooms of academics and confidently answered questions.

Cultural Competent leadership course. Being a person of colour in a predominantly white workplace led me to take on extra opportunities to dedicate my time to helping people understand the Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) aspect of a public service role which can be carried into real world experiences.

7+ years of retail experience and customer facing roles, worked in small and large stores. A variety of roles.

I have a music project and have done for around 11 years! if you'd like to check it out you can search Jack Conman online :)

I absolutely love a game of chess, I learned in school and I’m competent to teach if needed!

I’m very interested in various spiritual practices including sufism and buddhism.

I am interested in all genres of music, currently learning how to play guitar with Jack’s help! But I love listening to music and dancing!

I also enjoy swimming and yoga, would love to work on my stretching skills.

Very interested in learning about geography and cultures including all religions and faiths.

We are currently members of a sufi house in manchester which we tune into online to practice the meditations and to hear the speeches/music :)

We’ve both recently bought a surfboard and are currently catching waves on our bellies, we’re yet to stand up…
