Beschreibung

We appreciate the little things in life and we're eager to explore alternative horizons with work, especially with sustainable living, permaculture, and eco-building. We like manual labour, we're hard working and take pride in all tasks.

We have a passion for helping, discovering and gaining knowledge from everyone we meet, which reflects the way we work and also the way we live life.

We go on adventures. We like to get grubby and involved. We like to look at the brighter side of life. We love stomping our feet and smiling, we can both kart wheel-ish :)

Last year we converted an ex-welfare mercedes bus into our magical home on wheels.. We left the UK in February and have since been mostly in Portugal, spending time with our godchildren and other small people. We recently completed a Permaculture Design Course here in Alentejo, it confirmed everything, inspiring us and igniting even greater fires in our bellies. We are eager to invest more time into working harmoniously with the land.

We seasonly have worked festivals, for a bell tent company and mind, body, soul areas.

Shelly previously worked 1 to 1 with an autistic girl at a Steiner school in Bristol. Shelly makes tasty bread.

Issey is a remedial massage therapist, from a myofascial perspective. My massage table is in the boot :)

We love making things. We have a collection growing to sell at markets.

We like to ferment food and can share our kefir.

We have a 5 months year old dog called Kika, she is chill and clever.

We are easy-going, practical, strong, open minded and have lots of energy to give.

We have woodworking/building experience. We have worked previously with cob. We can use an array of tools. We are double diggers! We love gardening. Organic, wholesome living. Yummy Cooking. Smiling. Being.

We run a campervan building business called Handkrafted Campers (www.handkraftedcampers.com)
Issey is a Integrated Myofascial Practioner
We have two dogs, Kika (who we picked up when we lived and worked away in our bus in Portugal - she is 8) and Gigi who is 2.
We own a lovely home in Bristol that we restored ourself with the help of Issey's dad, most the furniture is handmade by us or epicycled or reclaimed. After 5 years of being on the waitlist we finally got an allotment plot down the road last August and so now grow our own yummy vegetables.
