Hi! My name is Isabella and I am an artist and engineer. I want to workaway because I want to learn more about the world around me and experience different ways of living. I am very interested in embracing sustainability, learning to live off of what Mother Earth provides, and experiencing cultures that differ from my own.

I love to learn, which flows into all of my hobbies. I like to play the guitar, make art, learn languages, read, and generally combining engineering and art to complete crazy projects that I come up with. I also love incorporating found items and ensuring that my process is as sustainable as possible. Recently I've been building an electronic typewriter, making and machining my own circuit board and writing the code! I've also been digging more deeply into herbalism, mycology, bioconstruction and sustainable buildings, and incorporating all of this into my way of life.

I’m someone who takes initiative, is adaptable, and always eager to contribute, learn, and collaborate. I’m excited about the opportunity to meet new people, work on meaningful projects, and create lasting memories!

I am an engineer by degree and I have a lot of hands-on experience in making things work. I am artistic and when I get an idea for something, I love figuring out how to make my ideas become a reality. I have experience in carpentry, electronics, and automotive work. On the less technical side, I love plants and have recently become very interested in the mycological world that surrounds us. I have nannied children for many years and worked in customer service as a friendly and helpful presence. I love making art from multiple mediums such as textiles and drawing, playing the guitar, and I am quick to learn!
