Some people travel. I just live in different places. I'm the kind of person who shows up, learns fast, and leaves the place better than I found it :)
I'm John, 25, dual US-EU citizen, left Miami at 19 and never looked back. I've been independent the whole time, living and working across 10+ countries, not as a tourist but as someone who stays, contributes, and becomes part of where they are.
I've cooked daily meals for a household, helped feed 100 people in a working kitchen, cleaned rooms and bathrooms, taught English by living as part of a family, cared for horses and lamb, handled guests at a villa, worked behind a bar, worked the front desk + built a digital one to replace myself when I'm unavailable, can drive cars, motorbikes, and small boats, run a chainsaw, auger, string trimmer, and lawn mower, done landscaping, hardscaping, and permaculture, and sanded and painted. That list keeps growing.
I'm adaptable and independent, and the people and the place will always be the best part for me! -

I've worked in various farms, hostels, and more where I helped with gardening, animals, technology, front desk work, and renovation. I'm pretty handy and quick to learn most things.

I embraced veganism though I did introduce some chicken once in a while to the family diet. English lessons with the boys were fun and because I don't speak Slovenian they constantly learned throughout the day. Thanks for also teaching me to drive a manual car Karmen!
