Hi there, my name is Henny!

(The following text is from a while back but mostly it still fits :D)

In 2021, I made my way to Portugal and stayed at a community that I found over workaway. I happened to stay (well live there really) there for a year and a half and it was a lovely experience that really kickstarted my love for community living. It has become such an important part of my life and I would love to continue down this path, sharing and receiving knowledge, ideas and feelings.
Apart from staying in a community as a longterm I volunteered at a few short(er) term workaways in between, taken on some fun jobs and traveled a bit.
Right now I'm thinking about what my soul needs and where to go next.. I'm excited to see what the world has to offer! Really, all I wish for is to feel inspired by what I do and the people I meet and maybe even inspire others on the way :)

When it comes to work I'm not picky about what get to do and I'm always up for a challenge. If there are any tasks I have no experience in yet, I love to learn from the people that do! I'm especially interested in skills and knowledge that will help me build the ground for an ethical lifestyle of my own. My main focus right now is to gather some knowledge about sustainable gardening, use of medicinal plants, perhaps foraging and building of any kind. But I can find joy in any type of work, especially if I have company!
(I’ve also been getting into different massage techniques lately so I’d be over the moon if I’d be able to deepen my knowledge on that!!)

I'm a little shy when it comes to learning new languages so I appreciate any help overcoming that. I would love to learn the languages spoken in the countries I visit and am happy to teach some English or German in exchange.

The last few years have been incredibly valuable for me and I'm so very grateful to lead the life that I do. I would love for us to get to know each other personally and share some of our skills, stories and experiences.

I definetly prefer physical work over sitting behind a desk or similar
If possible I always try to spend my time outside especially if it's sunny!
