Beschreibung

I enjoy travelling to places I have not previously visited and being out of my comfort zone. What makes me happy is meeting new people, spending time with friends and family, learning new skills and completing a task well.
My working life has been spent as an Exec Assistant & Office Manager so am very good at admin, organising, planning and event management.
I project managed the complete renovation of my current home last year and have transformed the garden too.
I am good with people and build relationships quickly.
Some years ago I worked a summer season in a hotel so am familiar with the amount of work involved in preparing rooms, hosting guests and organising groups and events.
In the past I owned a house in the Charente so learnt to speak French through my neighbours, and while in the UK, through Alliance Francaise. My French language skills are rusty at present as I don't use it day-to-day but when I return to France to spend time with my friends, it comes back very quickly.
I can offer Workaway Hosts a hard working pair of hands that can help you with admin, gardening, cleaning and cooking and I am flexible and willing to have a go at doing most tasks. I also have a great sense of humour and am a very positive person!

Great with people, enjoy meeting new people, build relationships quickly, adapt swiftly to new environments, flexible, spent my working life organising senior execs lives, calendars, management of events and projects, admin, office management.
On a recent trip to Oman in 2024, I took my first 2 scuba dives and loved both! Am currently learning to sail and go kayaking regularly.
I completed a WorkAway at Gomde Scotland in May 2025. It was a great experience. I hadn't lived in a community before; was good meeting people of different nationalities and doing a variety of work from painting the barn doors to helping cook to organising a retreat!
