Hi! I'm interested in working with animals and gardens. I love winter, cold and wild and isolated places.

Beschreibung

I am a simple woman searching for new experiences, learning new jobs and working on new situations. I´ve been working as a Secondary teacher for all my life but three years ago I decided to leave my job, sell my house and change my life in order to have new work experiences more connected with what I have always loved: nature, livestock and wild places.

So, the last three years I have been volunteering/ working in these fields I'm interested on (livestock management, farm work and and living in remote mountanious Places)
This is a summary of my volunteering and working experience in these last two years:

- Gardening in a big organic vegetable garden in Seville in Spain.
- Milking, herding, cleaning, making cheese, preparing products and selling in the local market in an Organic cattle, goat and vegetable farm in the Alps in Italy.
- Cleaning, mucking, general help in the farm, helping with kids lessons in an equestrian centre in Germany.
- Working as a kitchen assistant and a yoga monitor in a mountain hotel in Norway.
- Working in a organic garden in Norway and also with sheeps.
- Helping in a horse ranch with ranch maintenance, horse training, mucking and cleaning in British Columbia in Canada.
- Helping in a self-sustainable farm collecting and chopping firewood, snowshoveling, working in the garden, canning moose, salmon and beans in British Columbia in Canada.
- Helping in a hotel dog feeding and walking dogs and feeding huskies and cleaning huskies boxes in the Yukon in Canada.
- Working in a small familiar hotel in the Austrian Alps (waiter, hostess, kitchen assistant, yoga instructor, cleaner, ...)


For me , sharing life with nature and animals is essential in my life. I ran a garden and had chickens for many years at home that provided my daughter and I with vegetables and eggs for the entire year, so I have some knowledge about it.

I am 58 years old and I am not really interested in travelling, but in working, learning and sharing other ways of life. And this is the reason why I like to stay a long period of time in the same place.

I am a true nature lover, I love winter sports, hiking, climbing, riding horses (medium rider) and, specailly, ski touring. I am adventurous , always willing to face a new challenge. I am a passionate reader and I like sharing nice conversations with people.

I don't mind getting my hands dirty and working hard, I know that farm work can be tough and the work is generally never-ending, but for me it's rewarding and I love it!

I am a very independent woman, with a lot of initiative and energy, I consider myself as a really hard-worker and cheerful person, very easy going that empathize easily with people.

My personality is calm, respectful, and open to know other people and their different life approaches. I love sharing experiences and knowledge with nice people who also respect nature and try to live in harmony with Earth.
And besides, my yoga and meditation practice is very important to me, something that I don´t mind to share with other people.

I am also a skilled cook, traditional and innovative, I have kitchen professional experience so I can cook for a lot of people and, if you are interested, share with you all my knowledge about Spanish cuisine. I love cooking and sharing delicious meals with friends!!

- Gardening: I have experience in a familiar garden and also in a professional organic big
garden.
- I am passionate about horses and I have been riding them for many years.
- I have quite good cooking skills because I have been always in love with cooking and
now I have also a professional experience in an hotel kitchen.
- I am vinyasa yoga instructor. I have experience guiding lessons in a mountain hotel in
Norway.

Was noch ...

I like hard work and I don´t need comforts, I am searching for another way of life, more simple, sustainable, and in contact with nature. I like physical work, I really care about the job we do, I put attention to details and I am fast learner.
