Nice to meet you! I am Duarte, from Portugal :)

I have always been passionate about cultural diversity, landscapes and languages. I want to see these things with my own eyes and that's what brought me here.

My main goal in life is to forever grow up and I decided that traveling around the world, meeting all types of people is the best way of doing that. I like hearing others' stories, exchange culture and enjoying my own company.

I am starting from Portugal and heading east, let's meet on the way!

I was raised a portuguese speaker and learnt english at school and from media. Later, I lived in Denmark where I used english as a first language and became fluent, since then english is the language I use most during my day. I learnt danish while in Denmark, achieving level B1. I can also slowly comunicate in spanish which isn't very different from portuguese. I am very interested in sharing all the language knowledge that I have with others. It's something I have been doing through the travels I did so far and I really learning and teaching languages.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I always like trying new things, and for now I have worked for 1 year in a souvenir shop in Copenhagen, and also worked as a volunteer with construction in Ukraine, organic farming as a WWOOFer in Portugal and English teacher in Morocco. While in the Sahara desert I also made bricks to build walls.

I hold a masters degree in environmental engineering and participated in various projects as a student, coordinating social media pages and organizing events. I have a dog who I raised since he was a baby found in the street so I am keen to play with dogs. My friends also say that I am a good cook, so I think that would also fit here :)

I also enjoy making arts and writing. Embroidery is my biggest hobby.
