Beschreibung

I'm kind hearted, highly value community, and love to get obsessed with new skills. My personal passions are playing music, rock climbing, and trail running. Aside from that I love reading, cycling, and just spending time in nature. I'm interested in volunteer work as a way to improve my Spanish, help nice people with their projects, and hopefully to make some friends in the process!

I'm currently enrolled a Master's program for Computer Science. Since the program is completely online, I'm taking the opportunity to travel while I study!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

General Labor:
My family moved out to a large cattle ranch when I was 13 years old, so I have been doing all sorts of odd jobs related to ranch life since an early age.
I've worked seasonally as a Wildland Firefighter for the last 7 years, which involves a lot of forestry and agriculture oriented work.
Between fire seasons I've worked on DIY construction projects, farming, event catering, camper van conversion, bicycle taxi... a little of everything!

Education:
I taught an afterschool music group, some private music lessons, and substituted for public school classes ages 5-18 for about 2 years. It was a great work and I would gladly teach again!

Music is a huge part of my life. I'd love to play some songs together if anyone is interested! I play guitar, trumpet, and some piano.

**Currently I'm building a CV as a programmer, so any work that I could add to my portfolio is welcome!! This could be a website, an app, a database for an organization, or just cleaning up files on a computer. I started learning to code August 2023 and have been hooked since.**

Cooking: I'm no chef, but do enjoy cooking and can make good guacamole.
