I love people, sports and nature. I have been a soccer player my whole life, through which I have made many lasting friendships and developed my character a lot as a leader and “team-player”. I am most happy when I have my friends and family by my side, but I also love to venture into new settings and make new relationships along the way. I know how to work hard and enjoy doing so, particularly when working with others toward a common goal. Trying new things, learning and getting out of my comfort zone inspires me and is usually a lot of fun.

My whole life I’ve found joy in passing on my experience and expertise to others, whether it be through my soccer coaching business, my gymnastics lessons or technology assistance with my grandparents. I am interested in exploring the teaching field through my travels as I see it as a possible career path in my future.

I find peace in nature and enjoy backpacking, exploring and appreciating natural beauty wherever I am. It is important to me that my travels bring me places with natural beauty. Through my upbringing and life experiences, I have plenty of love for the environment; conserving nature and protecting the human and natural environment has always been a concern of mine. I am eager to find ways to help with environmental protection wherever my travels bring me.

I find that I enjoy life most when my schedule is full and I am dedicating myself and working hard on things that I am passionate about. That being said, I also value setting aside time for relaxation and fun with friends and family when possible.

I currently speak 3 different languages and am very interested in learning more as well as improving those that I know. I also am very interested in opportunities to teach English and possibly Spanish. I have experience in soccer coaching which has taught me about lesson planning and different aspects of teaching which I believe I could use when teaching a language.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

In high school I was in my school’s ‘Communication Arts Program’, where I learned the ins and outs of writing, public speaking, journalism, filmmaking, photography, history and acting. This program gave me a special, conversation-based style of education.

English is my native language, I speak Spanish fluently and some Portuguese, and am still learning more.

Throughout my life I have gained lots of experience in handiwork mainly through my Dad. I have helped him with several projects such as building a treehouse, painting the interior of our home, constructing a trampoline, and setting foundation for a woodshed. I also went on a trip with my church to Puerto Rico following hurricane Maria and assisted in rebuilding houses for a couple weeks.

As of recently I have gained experience working in retail at a grocery store which has taught me a lot about customer service and working within a team.

In my junior year of high school I started my own youth soccer coaching business in which I brought in over 10 long term clients over the span of 2 years. Through this venture I learned about lesson planning, how to adapt my own teaching techniques to different people and how to stay organized while balancing many different things.

One of my favorite hobbies since I was a kid is cooking and baking. I try to cook as much as possible and explore different cuisines from around the world.

I have been playing soccer competitively since I was very young.

One of the things I value most is spending quality time with family and friends doing things like playing board games, having camp fires and hiking, the list goes on. I am also a big foodie and love trying out new cuisines when I get the chance. Another hobby of mine is working out at the gym. I enjoy playing and watching any sports, though soccer is my favorite.
