We are currently studying university in Barcelona but whenever we have the chance we travel around the world. We have already embarked on many trips together and we are always looking for the next one

Hello!!
We are two girls from Barcelona very motivated and with loads of energy to seek new experiences, to connect with interesting people, and discover different cultures and ways of living.

We are currently studying in University (Jana is studying Audiovisual Systems Engineering and Daniela graphic design) but whenever we find the occasion we travel around the world searching for new adventures. We are very responsible and independent, we live in shared flats with other students so we are familiar with the house tasks and we cook daily.

We went to high school together but we became inseparable during a semester abroad in Ireland, were we attended classes in english and lived with a native family. Aside from the beautiful friendship that started there, our interests on travelling around the world, learning from people of different countries and practicing new languages matched perfectly. Since then, we have already visited a lot of european cities together and even done a summer interrail.

Now we are searching for a new challenge for us. It all started two years ago when we heard some stories about this workaway experience. Of course, we weren’t old enough to make it happen. So here we are, still with the same energy as if it were to be two years ago and ready to try new ways of travelling!

We became good friends during a 4-month stage in Ireland, were we attended high school and lived with an Irish family to learn english and discover a new culture. The urge to get in touch with different lifestyles and improve our language skills was the first thing that got us united and something that we keep practicing in all our new adventures.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both started working in early years therefore we have been around many different surroundings.
To start with, Jana has been envolved with jobs involving kids. Having to play with them, teach them, educate them...As well she is much of a creative person and started her own clothing brand with two co-founders.
Daniela has worked the past summers in jobs involved in the art world. First in the administration department of an art gallery in Barcelona and working as a bartender in music festivals; and this last summer in a fashion company in Antwerp, Belgium. She is also familiar with children since she has been babysitting different kids of her parents friends whenever they needed.

Aside from our more professional profile, we are also two very creative and proactive people that love to enrol in art projects. We are as well very independent, we both live away from our families so we know how to take care of a house and we love to cook for ourselves but we even love more to cook for others.

Furthermore, we can’t help it but to be very different when talking about sport.Jana is the type of person that never will say no when it’s time to do sport. She used to be a professional race-walker compitting in a nacional level. Daniela….on the other hand, she is more of a calmed person. She would be the girl in the class who had read all of Harry Potter books before you could even pronunciate your name! But she also enjoys a long run from time to time.
That contradiction of personalities brings a lot of balance to our friendship. Jana has been able to culturize a lot herself since she got to know Daniela and her family. Happening the same to Daniela. She has understood what it means to train so hard to achieve something. A value which will be needed in a day to day basis to comfront all the obstacles life puts you trough.
