Flexible traveler and responsible house/pet sitter

I have always travelled quite a lot (both for work and leisure), eager to discover places and meet people from different cultures and backgrounds. Born and raised in France, I have worked and lived abroad for the past 15 years, lastly in Georgia (in the Caucasus, not in the US ;-)).

Now on a sabbatical, I get the chance to slower down and make time to travel in accordance to my tempo, interests, and values. I have no fixed plan or schedule, and am therefore pretty flexible.

Mountains and forests are my favorite places, and you might spot me there hiking, hugging trees, or meditating. I aspire for greater connection with nature and simple healthy living. I love to learn how to use my hands and heart towards that goal, and I am equally excited to share my own experiences and skills, which range from finance to yoga. I don’t smoke, and am a vegetarian.

While new as a sitter, I have hosted several people at my former place, in Tbilisi, to care for my two adorable cats (through TrustedHousesitters: https://www.trustedhousesitters.com/house-and-pet-sitting-assignments/georgia/tbilisi/tbilisi/l/1147721/?). I understand the importance of trust when it comes to house and pet sitting, and you can count on me to follow your instructions to the letter, keeping your house in perfect conditions at all times and being the most affectionate carer to your pets and plants.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I grew up part time in the countryside, where my parents were renovating a house on a large parcel of land. There, I learned to observe and follow nature's rythm, as we relied on solar PV for electricity (and those were the early days of solar PV!). I can help in basic house repair and maintenance (painting, DIY, ...) and gardening - though, would love to learn and do more under someone's guidance. I love animals and would be delighted to care of any type (save for reptiles which I am very scared of).
I lived in very different places - London, NYC, Dakar, Manila, Amsterdam, Tbilisi - and can attest I am very adaptable. I am always keen to expand my skills, so test me out!
Finally, I can keep myself busy with my many interests, but I both enjoy social interactions and me-time. I'll adjust to your rythm accordingly.
