Hello! Our names are Abby and Connor from California, USA.

We're excited to take a break from full time work and have the opportunity to travel and immerse ourselves in other cultures! We're searching for opportunities that will provide us a hands on experience with the native community, culture, and language. We enjoy the slower pace of rural community that allows connection with people and nature. We're flexible, easy to get along with, and hope to cross paths with you in the future!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Abby - I work as an occupational therapist with children - meaning I help kids with various disabilities become more independent and engage meaningfully in their daily life. I love building connections with people of all ages and learning about life through their unique perspectives. I have a minor in Spanish and have spent time in Spain and Ecuador learning more about the language and their cultures (intermediate level). I would love to continue expanding my conversational Spanish for traveling and to communicate within my job with the families we serve. I enjoy being physically active through walking/hiking, yoga, climbing, and playing/working with children. I have interests in creative projects, plants and gardening, and the environment.

Connor - I work as a continuous improvement engineer for a manufacturing company. I love my work, which allows me to be hands on and always learning something new. Some of my qualities are: I'm personable, hard-working, athletic, hands-on, a good learner, and consistent & reliable. Skills of mine: strong problem solving, building processes, organization, and teamwork. I'm at a beginner Spanish level but looking to immerse myself in the language while helping out in any way possible!
