Hello! My name is Brittany, I'm from the United States, currently in Portugal and looking to see new places and gain new experiences while in Europe for the next couple months.
In my free time I enjoy taking photos, going to concerts, and writing. I love spending time in nature and with animals, volunteering is the perfect way to get to do that while traveling!
I have some experience working on homesteads, WWOOFing in the US. I worked in eastern Tennessee; taking care of chickens and goats, while also tending to the garden throughout my stay. In New Mexico I helped out on a ranch, working with the owner on various construction projects; building shelving units, installing lights, and laying brick for an ongoing cistern build. During my stay there I also took on the responsibility of looking after their chickens and horses.
This is my first time volunteering abroad and I can't wait for a new adventure!

I have always lived with cats and have experience taking care of chickens and goats.
I wouldn't call myself a seasoned carpenter, but have helped on various DIY projects involving sawing, sanding, and staining woodwork.
I enjoy crocheting!
