Hi! After taking a break from volunteering to focus on studying, I’ve found myself eager to get back into it, so I thought I’d give Workaway a try. - I'm still studying "Human and Environment" but taking it more relaxed - I’m really excited about getting involved into work again, meeting new people, exploring new places, and enjoying the fresh air. I’ve worked and volunteered in several places already, so I have quite a bit of experience in this area, but I’m also a huge fan of continuously gaining new experiences and learning new things. For instance, I spent three years at a wildlife rescue center in Ecuador, did fieldwork for a research project in Morocco for a few weeks, and worked at other amazing locations.
A bit about me: I’m an easygoing person who loves meeting new people, but I also enjoy some quiet time to recharge.Both sides are important to me, and I try to balance them as needed. I’m always up for a good conversation (or a joke), a board game, a round of pool, or a round of cards (especially if there's great food involved!). I have a passion for animals and plants and love working outdoors, plus I’m really good in teaching myself DIY things. When I’m not outside, you can usually find me reading, writing poetry, or painting when the inspiration hits.
I'm always up for a good time and I’m very curious and grateful when I get the chance to learn something new.
I’m also very into good communication—it doesn’t always have to be perfect, but addressing things openly is really important to me.
That’s a bit about me, but of course, you’ll get a better impression in person. Next spring, I’ll be traveling through Spain, so maybe I’ll find another interesting place to explore there.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I grew up bilingual, so I speak both German and Spanish fluently, and my English is also very, very good. I also have some school-level French, which I’d like to brush up on, and a bit of Kichwa. I enjoy being outdoors, am good with physical work, but also with computers. I am a fast learner and have a bit of a photographic memory so work will be done thoroughly. Books are a big passion of mine, as well as crafting. Additionally, I know a bit about plants and a lot about animals, and I’m very good at handling the latter. Perhaps somewhat unusual skills: I’m very good at speaking various German dialects and imitating animals other than humans.
