Beschreibung

We are a couple in our thirties from London currently travelling the world for six months, taking time out before we move location and jobs. Our trip has been years in the making and reflects what makes us happy - seeing the world, meeting new people, having new experiences and helping others where possible.

We both love to be busy, and have just taken time out from city jobs. Bianca is a corporate Learning & Development professional and Brendan is a corporate finance professional, and both of us enjoy a challenge and the feeling of having achieved something.

More generally we both love meeting new people and seeing new cultures, and both come from large extended families so are more than happy to help families as well as individuals who could do with a helping hand. In the past we have both volunteered in London (Bianca with homeless charities and Brendan with wildlife charity), and we both get a lot of satisfaction from feeling like we have helped in some way whilst learning new skills.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Together we have owned a home with a garden for a couple of years, so have done a lot of DIY (inside and in the garden) and admin tasks that come with being homeowners. Coming from large families, we both love looking after kids, and are often called upon as babysitters by our siblings! We're also both educated to masters level. A more individual list of skills below:

Bianca - good project management and admin skills from corporate career, including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, correspondence, processing invoices. Cooking, cleaning, gardening (mowing lawn, weeding, planting, pruning) and basic DIY (painting, sanding, supporting with carpentry projects) from owning own house. UK car/moped driving license holder, so happy to run errands where needed.

Brendan - finance job by day (good with excel, ppt and any other windows programs), DIY around the house in the evenings and weekends. Can do DIY projects (carpentry probably the strongest of my skills, but also happy to paint and have a go at anything DIY-related). Have spent a lot of time outdoors on the farm growing up and in the garden of our home so am good at mowing lawns, moving earth, cutting trees, general landscaping, fencing etc. I have also been a labourer on building sites growing up so can turn my hand to most tasks that are asked of me. Full UK driving license, previous experience (summer job at university) as a delivery man for a plumbing company.

Was noch ...

Bianca likes doing yoga, Pilates, running and has a scuba certification. She is also an historian by background, and loves heritage sites and social history.

Brendan is active as well - running, CrossFit and football, and has an interest in politics and the economy.

We are avid game players. Card games, Dobble, Scrabble and Six Nimmt (we can teach this!) are a few of our favourites.
