Beschreibung

Hi, I’m Attila from Hungary.
I was born and raised in the Hungarian Alföld, a large lowland area where I spent most of my time indoors reading books, drawing, and doing creative things. For the last eight years, I’ve been living in the capital and working as a developer. It’s a good and comfortable job, but a few years ago I started feeling the urge to do something different. Living in the city for so long made me realize how much I missed nature and the open landscapes of the lowlands where I grew up.

Over the last few months, I’ve made the decision to change my life and step outside my comfort zone. I want to work with my hands, learn new outdoor skills, spend more time in nature, and build a closer connection with it. I’d also really enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and, if possible, exchanging languages and learning from each other.

One of the main reasons I decided to start this new chapter was a mild case of burnout from corporate life, together with some changes in my personal life. These experiences made me realize that I want to slow down a little, pay more attention to the world around me, and gain a deeper and more practical understanding of sustainability and a simpler way of living.

I genuinely enjoy getting to know people, hearing about their backgrounds, beliefs, and the experiences that have shaped them. I believe everyone has something valuable to share and something new to teach me.

I’m curious, open-minded, and ready to get my hands dirty and learn along the way.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have intermediate skills in IT from previous jobs and have some art skills too. It could be great if I can use my creative side somehow in the tasks.

In the last months I builded an outside toilet (with help), preserved vegetables for winter, painted gutters and wood planks after sanding. Basically I'm fine with indoor and outdoor tasks too. :)
