Anita and Lucas are such a sweet couple and I really enjoyed having them in my house. They are very polite and eager to contribute and make a difference. We had fun working in the garden where they helped me build a stone wall. We had interesting conversations over dinner and overall just had a good time. I can warmly recommend hosting them.

We agreed that they stay longer with me, after I came back, and I am so happy they did. One thing is that they are hard-working, that is fantastic - but the fact that they are just really conscious, polite, intelligent, attentive and really interesting people, makes it very nice to be around them.
Together we took on a huge project to paint my house. They definately did most of the work and the result was amazing, and they cleaned up everything beautifully. So everything looks so good now.
I wish them all the luck in their future adventures and hope to see them soon again.

Jose and his friend Martin stayed with me for 14 days during August 2019. I enjoyed very much having them here. They worked really hard making a new terrasse in my garden. We cooked together, listened to lovely latin music and had a really good time. I felt I could really trust these guys and can definitely recommend to host them.

We stayed with Henriette for a week in June this year. What an absolutely wonderful time we had, Henriette is a great host & has a wonderful warm home.
For our workaway we painted a shed, cleaned the chicken coop roof, cleaned the windows inside and did some weeding and hedge trimming in the garden. We also cleared the gutters. We worked mostly
… read more outside in the sun with the cats which was nice. The work was very relaxed as long as we got it done we were free to start and finish whenever :)
We ate very well. Henriette is a great cook and very fun to cook alongside - there is also the veggie garden which always had fresh food to cook with! herbs, lettuce, garlic, onions.. and strawberries! (the veggie garden has so much more but this was only a few things that were ready to eat when we were there :) There is also always fresh eggs from the chickens outside.
We managed to fit in alot of activites for only one week! Henriette was fantastic at showing us around. We went on an evening tour of Copenhagen, to the amager strand beach a couple of times for roller skating/skateboarding and swimming (which was really wonderful for us to do together) We thoroughly enjoyed rollerskating with Henriette it was alot of fun & we are so glad we took our skates! Henriette was really great at showing us around and taking us to things that were happening - such as the midsummer celebrations in copenhagen :) It was also great just to relax and chat together at meal times.
We would recommend this workaway as it was such a lovely experience.
Thankyou so much to Henriette for having us in your home - We miss you already! We had such a lovely time, thanks for having us all week and more, for sharing your kindness, knowledge & happiness with us :) We hope sometime in the future we can meet again..
