I've travelled the world since before I had the choice (my dad's job forced us to relocate to Eastern Europe a couple times), but instead of resentment towards the idea, it became an obsession and something I absolutely can't live without. What really motivates me inside and outside of my job (I work in global health) is that no matter where we were born, how nice our house is, or what religion we practice, there are always things that connect us on a deeper level. I really like to find that commonality.

I was a competitive runner in university, and even though I retired my running shoes, I carry a lot of those experiences with me—I'm happiest when doing hard work with others in beautiful areas. I like to engage with my surroundings with curiosity and learn about the deeper mechanisms of how things work. Besides that *deep* stuff, I like to do the NYT crossword, play chess, listen to podcasts, and craft.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm a quick learner and very hard worker. I don't like to give up until I've given my best shot. I'm creative and good at crafts. I can do a lot of manual labor. I'm really good with kids (I even have a private tutoring business as a side job) and generally caring for things (plants, humans, animals, whatever)! I'm good with language and speak French and Spanish proficiently, and sometimes teach language classes. I haven't experienced many farming or building techniques but would be excited to learn.

I love, love, love board games. Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Chess, you name it. I also like to bike, play piano, run/hike, do yoga, listen to music, watch movies/tv, and paint.
