Beschreibung
Hello everyone,
my name is Annika, I am 23 years old and I live in the west of Germany. I love the idea of getting to know new people, a different culture and to widen my perspective in various ways. Therefore I registered on this plattform to combine my vacations with meaningful work for social and/or environmental projects and to make inspiring contacts.
I eat mostly vegetarian/vegan food. In my free time, I like to be outdoors, go for walks, hike, and draw from time to time. I am also always up for music, dancing and cooking with friends and family.
During my upcoming Workaway experiences, I would like to communicate in English for longer periods of time so that I can speak more fluently and confidently in the future (my level is between B2 and C1). Unfortunately speaking in another language than German is rather neglected in my everyday life.
I would describe myself as reliable, responsible, openminded and adaptable. I love to learn new skills and I assure you to do my best to help where I can!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Construction work:
Due to renovation-projects in my family I have already done some construction work, including:
- Removing wallpaper/paint/carpets,
- Demolishing walls,
- Plastering,
- Painting,
- General handling of all kinds of tools
I believe that I have already gained some initial experience in certain areas, but I am definitely willing to learn unfamiliar tasks!
Animals:
I had a dog for ten years and rode horses for a while. I am good with animals and especially enjoy training dogs.
Preparing meals:
Since I cook much and bake my own sourdough bread every week I have experince in preparing meals.
Other skills:
Otherwise, I would consider open communication and organization to be among my strengths.

Most of the time I eat vegetarian/vegan food. Since I occasionally eat meat from animals raised in good conditions, I can adapt here or find an individual solution.
