Beschreibung

Hi! I'm Annika, 26 years old, a very active, sportive, cheerful but calm person. I'm a social worker/inclusive educator and am used to shift work. I enjoy working with children and other people but do really love to travel and get to know other people, cultures and beautiful spots around the world. Therefore I am excited to experience my next travels with workaway. This way I get to know local life much better, feel useful and am able to experience a place more intensly. And I'm always happy to learn or practise new skills!
In my freetime I love to swim, go rowing, hiking, biking or running. I really like being outdoors and going on adventures! I love to hang out with friends or get to know new people, play games, go to social, political or cultural events. But I also enjoy tranquility while puzzling, reading or learning how to sew. And I have a small dog!
I'd describe myself as a very reliable and helpful person. I see what needs to be done and am not shy to take on whatever work is waiting for me. I love to learn new things, so am also happy to help with something I'm not very experienced in. I'm open for anything and anyone and love to see the world through another perspective.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've travelled alot and have lived abroad in a few countries. I'm quite good with languages and find it easy to navigate myself through a new country.
I have a lot of experience in care taking of people any age. I'm a former swim coach and tutor and am now a caretaker in a foster home. Therefore I have gained many skills around housekeeping, cooking, education and care taking. I'm experienced in painting walls, doing smaller renovations, helping around the garden and I have a dog so am also good with training and being around dogs. I grew up with many animals so am also used to taking care of them. I am strong and usually don't fatigue quickly. And I don't mind outdoor-work or getting dirty.
I'd like to help with whatever is necessary. If I were to garden or build something, I would be more than happy to learn but might need a bit of teaching beforehand or whilst helping.
