Live like a local and look after my dog in Skopelos Island, Greece

  Hello there. My dog Molly and I live in the heart of Skopelos town, Skopelos Island. It's the greenest island in Greece and covered in pine forests. My little house is very old and traditional. I haven't modernized it much in the 40 years I've been living here. Sadly it has no garden but there's a great view of the town from the balcony. Molly is a five year old rescue girl and very lively. She loves being taken for walks , digging holes and being groomed. There are some cats she doesn't like. She will also chase chickens given the chance. You need to be mature enough to take responsibility for my home whilst I'm away and keep it clean and tidy.

  Live like a local , get to know the Greek neighbours. Everybody knows Molly so you soon get to know people when they recognize her.

  Arbeit

  Whilst I'm away, Molly will need at least two walks a day; one in the morning and one in the late afternoon. Take her on a longer day hike if you wish; she's full of energy. My outdoor plants may need to be cared for.

  Your room has a double bed. There is also a wood burning stove should you need it. There is obviously a kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs is the living room, my office and up further, my room and the small terrace . Molly has the run of the house. There's a super market plus a fresh vegetable/fruit shop and a bakery within walking distance.

  There is a local bus service that goes across the island but in winter the service is very reduced. There are many hiking trails that I personally maintain with my Workaway volunteers. Life here is very simple.
