I really love singing (I took singing lessons for a few years to improve my technique), writing, working out, and sometimes painting just for fun and to let my creativity flow.

Beschreibung

Ciao! My name is Anna and I am Italian. I am 24 years old and I live in Turin. I graduated in Modern Literature, a degree that allowed me to explore subjects such as literature, history, and linguistics in depth. I have always felt a strong connection with the humanities and, above all, with writing.

After graduating, I started a Master’s degree in Creative Writing. It is not the most traditional career path, but I want to follow my dreams and hopefully dedicate myself to an artistic profession in the future. I would love to use storytelling to give a voice to people who are often unheard. My greatest aspiration is to combine writing with a social purpose and play an active role in society.

During my teenage years, I spent a lot of time volunteering, and this experience has had a deep impact on my personal growth. I was part of a youth group for many years in my local parish, where I had both educational and organizational responsibilities. I also took part in many solidarity initiatives, such as food collections and community projects.

I also have experience in babysitting, as I have had the opportunity to take care of children with specific needs, and in tutoring, especially helping students who had difficulties with humanities subjects.

I decided to join Workaway because studying English at school was not enough for me to become truly confident in the language. I would love to overcome this language barrier and the shyness that sometimes comes with speaking a new language. I feel ready to have an experience that really challenges me and allows me to take another step in my personal growth.

I hope this introduction has helped you get to know me a little better! I would really love to improve my English and have an experience that I will remember forever.

I would describe myself as a flexible and friendly person. I like trying to solve problems in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable and helps people find an agreement. I also enjoy being there for those who choose to open up to me and share their thoughts or difficulties.
I am a little shy, but I am working on it!
