Hey there!!

I'm Amelia, I’m using work-away as recommend by a friend to search for creative, sustainable and unique opportunities I wouldn't find in London. I'm a keen gardener, artists and creative person, fairly free spirited and in touch with the environment and my practice of yoga. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, exploring, travelling, meeting people, dance and reading!

Currently I juggle hospitality work, with plant installation designs, and run a vintage shop in SE London, i'm pretty fed up of it all and the cost of, sometimes what feels like surviving here in the big smoke. Since I recently finished a 4 year BA Fine Arts degree at Central Saint Martins I'm looking to gain lifelong skills to take into both into my artistic practice and life.
I’d like to use these projects to give a direction for my work post university, and gain necessary craft and language skills, while meeting wonderful like minded people.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’m young, fit and always read for a challenge! I’d consider myself driven through my passion for arts. I enjoy helping people, communicating with others, designing spaces to certain uses, analysing the effects. I have basic knowledge of both Spanish and German but hope to improve these throughout my tie using Workaday. I've done a fair bit of solo travel over the past few years and have picked up skills in mosaic's, printing making and ceramics.
I’ve got good eye for design, pattern and texture so would best enjoy creative outlets through projects. Very much a people person who hangs out with friends, regularly practice yoga, meditation makes me a laid back and open minded individual always up for a challenge or adventure.
