Hi, I’m Adrian. I’m 30 years old, originally from Poland, and I’ve been living in the UK for the past 15 years.

I’ve recently ended my flat tenancy in the UK and decided it was the right time to do something different. After watching the movie "Into the Wild", I felt inspired to go on a proper adventure — not just travel for the sake of it, but to meet people, learn new things, experience different cultures and see new landscapes.

For work, I’m self-employed as a painter and plasterer, so I have a lot of hands-on building and renovation experience. I’m confident with practical work, repairs, decorating, plastering, painting and general maintenance. I’m not afraid of hard work and I’m used to getting stuck in and being covered in dust.

I also really enjoy gardening. I have experience growing and harvesting herbs, flowers and vegetables, and I like being outdoors and working with plants. Alongside practical work, I also have experience with websites, online branding and internet-based projects, so I’d be happy to help with that side of things too.

I speak fluent English and Polish, and I’m easy-going, respectful and independent. Outside of work, I love music, ancient ruins, mountains, and exploring places with a bit of history and character. I’m not really the type of person who enjoys boring all-inclusive resorts — I’d much rather go off the beaten path, meet real people, and experience places in a more authentic way.

This is my first time using Workaway, so I don’t have any reviews yet, but I’m reliable, hardworking and respectful of people’s homes and spaces. I’m happy to answer any questions, have a video call beforehand, or provide more information if needed.

I’m driven by new interactions, learning new skills and seeing how people live in different parts of the world. I’m looking forward to helping out, sharing what I know, learning from others, and hopefully creating some good memories along the way.
