About Me＞＞
Hi there! My name is Yo (葉). In Japanese, my name means "Leaf." Some people might mistake my name for a greeting ("Yo!"), but it actually represents nature and growth.

I’m from Tokyo, where I’ve lived with my supportive family. For the past few years, I have been working as a professional editor and writer. While I love my career in Japan, I’ve decided to take a big step forward this spring: I left my job to embark on a solo journey around the world through Workaway!

Why I am on Workaway＞＞
Actually, I’ve wanted to do this since I was a university student, but the pandemic changed everything. Now that I finally have the chance, I want to make up for lost time!

My main goals are＞＞

To connect deeply with people from different cultures.

To learn about diverse lifestyles and values to enrich my own perspective.

To improve my English through real-life communication (I’m still learning, but I’m a very hard worker!).

My friends and colleagues often describe me as kind, diligent, cheerful, and thoughtful. Although I am not a big person physically（153cm!!）, I am very sincere and dedicated to any task I take on.

Content Creation: With my background in editing and writing, I can help with blog posts, social media, or proofreading in Japanese.

Reliable Help: My strength is doing everything thoroughly and with great attention to detail.
Since my mother raised me to clean every single corner meticulously, I’m confident I can help keep your home spotless.
Of course, I can also help with basic household chores such as washing dishes, laundry, ironing, and cooking.

Cultural Exchange: I can cook Japanese food or teach you Japanese language and culture!

I am a professional writer and editor.

I can help with Japanese blog posts, social media, and checking Japanese text.

2. Housekeeping & Physical Work

Housework: I can help with cooking, washing dishes, and cleaning.

Physical Work: I don't have experience with gardening, but I learn fast. I played dance for many years, so I am very strong and healthy! I will do my best.

3. Childcare

I am the oldest sister of three children. I always helped my younger brother and sister.

I have small kids in my relatives, so I like playing with children.

I love dancing, playing music, and drawing. I also love reading poems and essays.
I am very interested in world music. In university, I was a member of a Brazilian music club. I have loved Celtic music since I was a child.
