After a wonderful adventure in Canada, we are now heading to New Zealand !

Beschreibung

We are both French aged 27 and 29, we come from Le Mans and Strasbourg.

After a wonderful two-years adventure in Canada, we are now leaving for New Zealand.

We arrived in Canada in 2023, in the province of Quebec, where we worked in Mont-Tremblant ski resort. During the Summer 2024, we did a Workaway in a farm goat in Yukon, it was an amazing experience ! Then, we travelled in Yukon, Alaska, and British Columbia. The last winter, we worked in Big White ski resort, in BC.
And this summer, during three months, we did a road trip in USA. It was just awesome and beautiful.
After that, we came back to Yukon to do two wonderfull Workaway. The fisrt one, we worked with horses. We prepared the horses for lessons with disabled children. We also did some painting and weeding.
The second one, we helped in the garden picking fruit and chopping wood. It was also an amazing experience with amazing people.

We are calm and respectful people, passionate about sports and travels.
We registered on workaway so that we could travel in a different way, with the aim of discovering new places and meeting great people.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Gwen has a diploma in events and Xavier in sports management.
Our native language is French and we would like to improve our English with the help of our workaway experiences.
We have both worked in contact with customers, in catering or in sales for example.
Xavier has experience in handling job and working with animals.
Gwen has also worked with childrens and animals, and she worked in a restaurant.

During our Workaway in 2024, we worked on a goat farm in Yukon, in Canada. We took care of the goats, feeding them, cleaning their enclosures. We also took care of the dogs and cats, feeding them, walking them... We also helped with the construction of enclosures and barns. We loved this experience, it was very rewarding and wonderful to work with the animals.
