Wan Ying:
Hi, I am Wan Ying from Malaysia. I am a vegan and nature lover. I love to spend my leisure time to do cooking, reading, writing, crafting and hiking. I love to watch to the sky. The sky will not repeat day to day and always surprise you with the nature painting. Cooking might be a hard work for somebody but I enjoy the moment to prepare the delicious food for myself and others. It is interesting to find out different perspective, opinion while reading and it will refresh my mind. Writing is a good way to review my life and express my emotion. Doing the craftwork allow me to focus and concentrate and also make me feel calm and peaceful. A nature-lover always love hiking and me too.

Kia ora,
I am optimism. I believe everything that happens will brings the best experience for me, no matter how. I graduated from Forestry course. I would like to learn more about conversation of forest in different countries. I am interested to the indigenous community of New Zealand.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I worked as a tutor assistant at kindergarten and teacher at primary school before. I also organized nature class for kids to explore nature during my internship at Medini Green Park. Medini Green Park provided me a good opportunity to learn how to manage organic edible garden and urban forest. I enjoyed the time spent with the kids and learnt a lot from my supervisor. I start to work during study time at secondary school and have work experience in restaurant and clothing outlet. I went for volunteer at backpacker hostel in Malaysia as well and able to do the common housework. When I live alone during my degree at Sabah and while working at Singapore, I always cook and able to make some Malaysia local food. It is interesting to share the vegan recipe of different country! Malaysians are able to speak in three languages basically and I am able to speak English, Mandarin and Malay. I did do the accommodation exchange under HelpX as well. I enjoy to do the gardening and good in doing the housework.
