I'm an adventurous guy taking every excuse to go outside and see the world. I love changing up environments, mountain tops, having fun with people I'm not supposed to have met, and surprising people with weirdly specific words in their language.

I live in the Netherlands, which is an amazing country in many ways. That said, it's flatness, grey skies and 530 people per m2 make for a suboptimal adventure-climate ;).
Therefore, I've been building an adventurous travel agency called Kaaiman Reizen (www.kaaimanreizen.nl) for the past three years, organizing group trips to climb mountains, kayak fjords, and hike trails.
I love (outdoor) sports and tend to do them as much as my body and agenda will allow.

I've visited a lot of amazing places while backpacking and hitchhiking trips over the years. Lately I fell in love with the concept of staying in a place for a bit longer and becoming a part in local life for a while. As adaptable as we are, you become your surroundings after a while in the same place. I think it's the perfect way to become a little bit of everything ;)

Lastly: At the end of this year I'm going to switch from my office job to the trades.
For the past few years I've continuesly wanted to do less with screens and more with my hands, and now I'm taking the leap by starting an apprenticeship at a woodworker/furniture builder and an ecological gardener.

I'm very interested in working with wood, metal, animals, plants and everything in between and want to learn everything I can about any of these topics.
As of now I have very little knowledge or skills in these area's, but very keen to learn by making long days of learning by doing, so I have a headstart when starting the apprenticeship.

Right now I'm looking for a Workaway-stay with lots of projects like this I can take on!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

In my daily life/job I spend most of my time:
- Building a company and making things profitable
- Systemizing processes to make them run smoothly
- Selling and marketing
- Photo/videography (check out @vicsfifty)
- Figuring out how to do things I've never done

As said in the description up top, at this chapter of my life I want to focus on learning a trade. I want to learn how to work with wood, metal, plants & animals, and will soon be starting an apprenticeship in woodworking/furniture building and ecological gardening/permaculture.

Chances are, if I messaged you, you have a lot of fun projects to do in these area's. I love to spend as much time as I can developing skills by helping you with the projects!
As of now I have very little skills in these area's, but if you can show me how it's done I will take it from there.

I spend as much time as i can becoming as fit as possible and like to get my hands dirty. I also tend to pick new things up pretty quickly. Throw some manual labour and minor instructions at me and I will probably get it done ;)
