Hi!

We’re Ellen and Liam, a couple originally from the north of England but currently living in Australia.

As a couple we both live animals and the outdoors - Liam works as an industrial abseiler, enjoying hiking and climbing in his spare time, while Ellen is a zookeeper turned ecologist, with a focus on birds, who loves horse riding and swimming!

We’re excited about the prospect of travelling whilst also meeting new, local friends, and we’re both happy to give any work a good go.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Between us we have a wide range of skills and experience, and we’re both very hard workers!

Liam is very practical, working a job which involves being able to carry out lots of different maintenance work whilst hanging from the side of a huge building! Painting, concrete repairs and caulking are his day to day but he’s pretty handy with most DIY/manual labour tasks. If you’re interested in climbing, he does sport climbing and could take you out and teach you to belay! He’s also interesting in biking, and can do a pretty good job with general bike maintenance and fixing up. On top of this he makes a great banana bread!

Ellen has lots of experience in animal care with a huge range of species through her job, but has also grown up caring for and riding horses. She’s always full of animal facts, especially when it comes to birds, and is always happy for a chat about nature and conservation! She enjoys cooking and is happy to make meals to share with others. She also has a bit of a green thumb and can manage any garden maintenance.
