A bit about us

We both drop everything to listen to a blackbirds evening concerto.
Other things that bring us joy...the smell of moss and pine trees after rain fall, the feeling of salt water drying on our skin and the soft sound of sails in the wind. Walking barefoot, exchanging a smile with a stranger, the soft touch of an animal's fur, the excitement of growing something from scratch but also caring for old vines, the smell of dark roast espesso in the morning, cooking and sharing, the exhileration of playing with the wind, water, snow and ice.

Bonding with horses is another thing both of us have in common…
And we share a strong belief in serendipity!


A little bit more about us

Working for 18 years as a team of skilled builders, we dream of setting sail to travel the world, helping out and making a small difference where needed along the way.

We are specialised in Circular Projects and Natural Garden landscaping, but at the core we are sailors, so even though we are nature/mountain people, we are in love with the sea and the freedom she offers.
On our way down towards the Med, we are open to any type of fun and meaningful project; keen on helping out as volunteers for short-term projects (+/-2wks) in exchange for a cultural and learning opportunity.
Mostly plant-based, we do not make a fuss around people who eat differently and adapt easily when we are guests somewhere.

We are both especially interested in acquiring knowledge about permaculture, food forests, EAT (equine-assisted therapy) and ocean protection projects 😉

We’re Yaël and Richard, a couple of professional builders and sailors with a big dream: to sail around the world and give back wherever the wind takes us, acquiring a wealth of exchanges by creating changes along the way!

Our mission is simple—use our hands to build a better world. From home renovations, sustainable/circular projects, eco builds to community projects, gardening to animal welfare, we believe in trading our skills for impact.

Right now, we’re funding our journey one job at a time—offering top-quality renovation and building work to save for our sailboat. That boat won’t just carry us; it will carry hope, tools, and time for the people, communities and animals in need we meet around the globe.

Every fence we fix, every roof we raise, every garden we turn into an oasis gets us one step closer to a floating home that helps us help others.
