Hi there!
My name is Tomoyo, and I'm 29 years old. I'll be arriving in New Zealand on September 1st to begin my working holiday.
My main goals for this trip are to improve my English skills and to connect with people from different countries through various volunteer activities, which I believe will help me learn about new cultures.
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and TV shows on Netflix and Disney+, listening to music, taking walks, and doing yoga. I'm a big fan of Disney movies, as well as the Harry Potter and The Hobbit series.
I also love flowers and used to visit flower shops frequently back in Japan.
My English is still a work in progress, but I am eager to learn and communicate. I look forward to connecting with you!

Housework & Cooking:
I lived alone in Japan, so I'm fully capable of handling all household chores, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
I enjoy cooking, especially Japanese food, bagels, and pound cakes. I would be happy to share my cooking with you if you'd like.
Gardening & Plants:
I absolutely love flowers and enjoy decorating my room with them.
While I don't have extensive experience in gardening, I'm very eager to learn and help with any tasks.
Child & Animal Care:
I grew up with a dog, so I am very comfortable and happy to help with animal care if needed. I also love children and have experience taking care of my nephew.
Unfortunately, I have a cat allergy, so I am unable to have direct contact with cats.
Hospitality & Communication:
In Japan, I worked as a radiological technologist at a hospital. This job involved interacting with many different people, so I am confident in my communication skills.

I'm a 29-year-old from Japan who is hoping to improve my English and broaden my perspective in New Zealand.
For the past six years, I've worked as a radiological technician at a hospital, where I had the opportunity to connect with many patients. I've also gained diverse experience working part-time at bakeries, a cake shop, and a temple. The common thread in all these experiences is the joy of connecting with people. I'm confident in my communication skills and excel at building trust with others.
In New Zealand, my goal is not only to enhance my language skills but also to actively immerse myself in the local community. By experiencing different cultures and values, I hope to gain a fresh perspective on my own way of thinking. I love taking on new challenges and find enjoyment in everything I do. I can't wait to fully immerse myself in New Zealand's beautiful nature and have some unforgettable new experiences.
