Beschreibung
Hi! We are Til and Sina, an 18-year-old couple from Germany.
After finishing high school (Abitur), we decided to take some time before starting the next chapter of our lives and explore southern Africa. Rather than simply travelling as tourists, we want to experience everyday life, meet local people, learn new skills and contribute wherever we stay. We both enjoy being outdoors, working with our hands and taking on new challenges. Whether it's helping on a farm, looking after animals, gardening, DIY projects or supporting community projects, we're always happy to learn and help. We love meeting new people, learning about different cultures and sharing our own.
We're looking forward to making unforgettable memories, helping wherever we can and learning as much as possible along the way! -

As native German speakers, we would be happy to help anyone who would like to learn or practise German. We are also happy to communicate in English and help others improve their English if needed, although we know that many hosts and volunteers already speak it very well. At the same time, we are always eager to improve our own English and love learning about new languages. Whether it's Afrikaans, a local language or simply different ways of speaking English, we are always curious and excited to learn. -

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Til enjoys practical and hands-on work. He has experience with gardening, painting walls, basic carpentry and renovation work, having helped renovate several houses. He also enjoys DIY projects and is always willing to help with repairs, maintenance or other practical tasks.
Til also has experience working with children. He completed an internship at a kindergarten and, through his family, was involved in providing emergency foster care for children for two years. During that time, he spent a lot of time caring for, playing with and supporting younger children. He also has two younger siblings, so being around children has always been a natural part of his life.
Sina has been horse riding for six years and is experienced in handling and caring for horses. She also completed an internship at a veterinary practice, where she gained experience working with animals and assisting in everyday tasks. In her free time, she enjoys being creative through drawing and music. She plays the piano, saxophone and flute and is also a member of a band.
Both of us are native German speakers and would be happy to help anyone who would like to learn or practise German. We are reliable, hardworking and open-minded, and we enjoy contributing wherever we are needed while learning new skills and experiencing different cultures. -
