I am interested in sustainable living practices, farming, vegetarian cuisine, travel and music to name but a few things.

Hi there wonderful WorkAway folks. My name is Thomas and I am a Writer, Chef, Poet and Musician amongst other things. I have been travelling the world for the past ten years with six being in Spain, three in the Netherlands and the remainder split between Ibiza, Croatia, Bristol and Thailand (which is where I currently am).
I love to cook and have run my own pop up restaurant for the past five years. I am a novelist and BBC award winning poet who enjoys nature as it offers me space to write. I am also a musician and singer/songwriter/rapper.
I speak conversational Spanish and some Dutch and love languages. The exchange of language and culture being one of my favourite things in life, I am really looking forward to the experiences that this will offer.

The list continues if I’m honest. I’ve lived a long life. But my main specialties are cooking, any form of manual work/farming/building and writing of absolutely any type (and a focus on content creation).

I was once a very good scrabble player but haven’t played in a long while. I love music, great music moves me like black and white movies. I also love movies and books. I want to spend more time in direct contact with nature. It’s strange how you can be on the middle of a jungle and still somehow not do so.
