Hi, I’m Thomas! I’m a 22-year-old French guy and recently graduated with a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Groningen, Netherlands. This year, I’ve decided to take some time off to explore the world and discover new ways of living. Having lived in six countries across four continents, I have experience in connecting with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and it’s something that I love doing.

I’m curious, easygoing, reliable, and always happy to help and learn. I’m also open-minded and try to fit in wherever I can. I have experience in volunteering through Workaway already, where I spent one month (August 2022) at an animal sanctuary in Lanzarote with over 100 animals. I also have some experience in coaching sports to kids, as I was a multisports trainer over the holidays where I live.

For me, Workaway is the best way to travel. It lets me dive deeper into a culture instead of just passing through, while giving back at the same time. I’m really excited to spend over a month in Tanzania to learn, share, and help wherever I can.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I believe that the skills that I can offer are very well-rounded. I love drawing and creating. That is why I'm interested in every art project. I speak French and English fluently, and Spanish at an Intermediate level. I have already handled kids when I worked for a sports camp during the summer. I am an extrovert and love to teach people things that I know.

When it comes to gardening, we have a huge garden that needs caring so my brothers and I would often go out and help our parents. Learning new things is something that motivates me to move forward and if a specific skill is needed, don't worry I learn fast ;) I can also help with cooking, general maintenance, and computers.
