Beschreibung

Hi we are Tami and Fabian , a 31 years old couple from Austria.

Tami: After studying German language and literature in Graz, I worked for a while as an editor and copywriter in the marketing department of a company in Graz, where I lived with my partner Fabian. Fabian has been by my side for 12 years. He studied Environmental System Science and Business Administration and is currently working at a company in the waste management and circular economy sector. But unfortunately, as life often goes, I went through a difficult phase last year that showed me how valuable every day is. Now it's time for Fabian and I to make our dream come true in 2025: So we have decided to explore the world, connect with inspiring people and learn more about local culture. We are really looking forward to learning new skills and developing ourselves - getting out of the office and into nature and life. :)

What I/we love: Nature (especially the sea), animals (cats!), gardening, cooking and baking (being a host to my friends and family), peace and quiet, positivity, yoga, music, good food, learning languages (I would love to learn Greek and improve my Italian/English/French).
Fabian is keen to try out new sports such as sailing, currently he loves running, mountaineering, ski touring, mountain biking and scuba diving.

Who I am: We grew up in the countryside in a small village in Styria and am a rather quiet and introverted type - nothing can upset me or stop my smile so easily! I am very organized, precise and tidy, but also quite handy. I really enjoy deep conversations about all kinds of topics and connecting with people since I am a very empathic person.

We are open to different kinds of workaway experiences and projects to create new skills that help us grow. We are looking forward to meeting you! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

TAMI:
During my German studies I discovered my love of literature and language. At that time I took some language courses in Italian, French and Greek (basic knowledge) and would love to deepen my knowledge of these. In summer I also worked in the catering industry (cash desk, serving) alongside my studies and gained some experience in this field.

As an editor and copywriter in a company I have learned how to keep a good overview of tasks. I am a very organized and reliable person who is always aware of details.

During my three moves, my partner and I put together all the furniture, painted walls, installed lamps, decorated, created a garden and discovered that I really enjoy doing all these things.

Caring: I grew up with a bunch of cats and there are now five of them at my parents' house, and would love to be around more animals.

Hosting/Events:
My parents' house was always the meeting place for the whole family: there were many celebrations and I enjoyed organizing (from the decorations to the food to the activities) and looking after our guests so they would feel welcome and comfortable and organizing everyone.

Together with a former fellow student and friend, I set up literature competition in Graz ("wir sind lesenswert"): there I learned how to organize official events, design the process, and look after the jury and guests

I would love to develop more gardening, cooking, Yoga, DIY skills and improve my languages (Italian, Greek, English, French)
