Hello lovely travellers!
We have just moved into our big home in Ohakune and we’d love to welcome you to spend some time together exploring this new place.
We are discovering Ohakune ourselves and so far it looks like a good mountain biking place with a big adventure playground for adults and kids alike.
The children have enjoyed their first snow and snowboard experience and we’ve got an indoor ping pong table and a lot of indoor space to share with you. You’ll also have your own bedroom as we are renting a home that used to serve as a lodge.
My preference is to exchange accomodation, wifi, showers etc for 12-15 hours of work a week. Bring your own food and together with your basket and my basket we whip up budget friendly and delicious meals for all. You can have your own space in the fridge and your own room as well.
I’d love to receive support with caring for children, cleaning, teaching my children a variety of skills including French and Dutch!
I teach non violent communication and I am currently learning Balinese massage as well. -

This beautiful place is located near mountain ruapehu, from my discovery now there is a lot of walks and mountain biking tracks available. in the winter there is skiing and snowboarding. there is also a swimming pool open in the summer. A squash centre, gym and indoor climbing centre.
I can’t wait to fill in this section with more clarity in the near future. -

Arbeit
Hello,
I would love to experience someone who enjoys variety while being present with my children. Someone who can balance the playfulness of children while noticing work and join in where needed as needed.
In the morning I love having some time to create an art course, practise NVC or dedicate to personal growth and help in the kitchen, I am currently applying for funding in order to teach NVC workshops and art in our community. Help with organising the day as well as help with my younger children would bring a lot of ease and joy to my day.
There is also room to work on the projects outdoors like creating a floor is lava Track, create more adventure for my children in the garden or teach them basketball skills.
I'd love to welcome someone flexible and fun, a role model who can assist and guide my children towards self responsibility especially around free exploration (art, fishing, cooking, cleaning skills etc) and supporting them with cleaning up after themselves.
At the moment I offer accomodation only for an exchange of 2.5 -3 h of your time Monday to Friday. Weekends are free and bring your own food to add to the fridge and together with what you bring and what we have in the house we cook a meal for all. -

Unterkunft
We live in a house that is set up for a backpackers or motel. There is lots of space including an arcade area, indoor soccer game and ping pong table. My children do have restriction on digital media up to 1 hour max a day.

During your time off there are walking tracks, cycling trails, you can take a bus that takes you up the mountain where you can go snowboarding as well. There’s also wall climbing, bellydancing, jujitsu available as a hobby and more
