Hello everyone, I will be travelling to France. I love music, art, hiking, nature, sports and more, hope to meet some of you guys!!!

Beschreibung

Hi everyone!! I am Tamara and I am 21 years old. After I finished high school in Ecuador I went on one big adventure to discover the world before the so-called "real life" kicked in. I traveled to Argentina, volunteering in different places and I got to know amazing people. I also went to Spain, volunteered for a couple of months and then did the Camino de Santiago where I saw beautiful landscapes, met people from around the world and accomplished something that I never thought I would do. I then traveled to England, Germany and Holland where I continued learning new skills. I ended up in Belgium doing some voluntary work too, and now I am studying Industrial Product Design in Kortrijk. I am learning French and this summer I want to gain new experiences and perfect my french.

I love outdoor-traveling, painting, baking, cycling, board games, hiking, skating, climbing and a lot more!!I have a little knowledge in gardening and plants as I grew up helping in my parent's plant nursery and I was surrounded by plants all my life. I completed a cocktail course in Amsterdam and I am now gaining some experience in that area. In addition to that I am working in a café and learning all the barista skills!

Now in my second year of product design I have gained some very good communication skills, problem solving abilities and some great hands on prototyping skills (woodworking, some metal work, some power tools, painting and finishing) .I believe these skills can help in any construction work needed and especially any creative work.

I Volunteered in the Bianal of Cuenca, helping with the assembly and montage of artwork which was shown in different museums of the city. In my time in Argentina I gained new skills in hospitality, farming, gardening, some DIY, and taking care of animals. I have formed a bond with nature learning how to live in harmony with it and how natural products are better and tastier than the ones we normally consume.

From a very young age I traveled to some countries in Europe, so I love experiencing other cultures and meeting new people! I absolutely love learning new things, seeing new places and experiencing new things. I love all sorts of animals but I am a little afraid of geese so I might stay away from them if you have them.

Speaking of my personality, I would say I am a really chill, fun, easygoing, friendly, artistic, creative, open minded, passionate, motivated and hard working person. (maybe a bit shy at first :p)

I am a quick learner and I would love to help with anything you need. I have painted some murals at home and during my time volunteering soI would love to paint something for you guys!!!! I am not an expert in painting or drawing but I can try to teach you the basics :)

My expectations during my time volunteering with you guys are: having a great time, meeting amazing people, doing fun activities, learning something new and being able to use all my skills to help in your projects.

¡¡Hola a todes!! Soy Tamara y tengo 19 años. Después de terminar la secundaria en Ecuador, comencé una gran aventura para descubrir el mundo antes de que la llamada "vida real" empezara. Viajé a Argentina donde realice voluntariados en diferentes provincias y conocí gente increíble. Además fui a España, donde fui voluntario por un par de meses y luego hice el Camino de Santiago donde vi hermosos paisajes, conocí gente de todo el mundo y logré algo que nunca pensé que podría hacer. Luego viajé a Inglaterra, Alemania y Holanda donde continué aprendiendo nuevas habilidades y comencé a descubrir qué quería de la vida. Terminé en Bélgica haciendo un poco de trabajo voluntario y ahora estoy estudiando Diseño de Producto Industrial en Kortrijk. Estoy aprendiendo francés y este verano quiero vivir nuevas experiencias y perfeccionar mi francés.

¡Me encanta viajar, caminar al aire libre, pintar, hornear, andar en bicicleta, juegos de mesa, patinar, escalar y mucho más! Tengo un poco de conocimiento sobre jardinería y plantas, ya que crecí ayudando en el vivero de plantas de mis padres y estaba rodeade de plantas durante toda mi vida. Completé un curso de coctelería en Amsterdam y ahora estoy adquiriendo algo de experiencia en esa área. Además estoy trabajando en una cafetería y aprendiendo todas las habilidades de barista!

Ahora, en mi segundo año de diseño de productos, he desarrollado muy buenas habilidades de comunicación, capacidad para resolver problemas y excelentes habilidades prácticas de prototipado (trabajo en madera, algo de trabajo en metal, uso de herramientas eléctricas, pintura y acabado). Creo que estas habilidades pueden ser útiles en cualquier trabajo de construcción necesario y, especialmente, en cualquier trabajo creativo.

Fui voluntarie en la Bienal de Cuenca, ayudando en el montaje de obras de arte que se exhibieron en diferentes museos de la ciudad. En mi estadía en Argentina obtuve nuevas habilidades en hospitalidad, agricultura, jardinería, algo de eco-construcción, bioconstrucción y cuidado de animales. He formado un vínculo con la naturaleza aprendiendo a vivir en armonía con ella y cómo los productos naturales son mejores y más sabrosos que los que normalmente consumimos.

Desde muy joven viajé a algunos países de Europa, así que me encanta experimentar otras culturas y conocer gente nueva. Me encanta aprender cosas nuevas, ver lugares nuevos y experimentar cosas nuevas. Me encantan todo tipo de animales, pero tengo un poco de miedo a los gansos, así que podría alejarme de ellos si los tienes.

Hablando de mi personalidad, diría que soy una persona muy relajada, divertida, tranquila, amistosa, artística, creativa, de mente abierta, apasionada, motivada y trabajadora. (tal vez un poco tímido al principio :p)

Aprendo rápido y me encantaría ayudar con cualquier cosa que se necesite. He pintado algunos murales en casa y durante mi tiempo de voluntariado, así que me encantaría pintar algo para ustedes. No soy un experto en pintura o dibujo, pero puedo intentar enseñarte los conceptos básicos :)

Mis expectativas durante mi tiempo de voluntariado con ustedes son: pasar un buen rato, conocer gente increíble, hacer actividades divertidas, aprender algo nuevo y poder usar todas mis habilidades para ayudar en sus proyectos.

I am a skilled artist who is eager to teach and learn about this subject. I am very interested in painting murals and I can help with any painting that is needed around the place. I know a bit about gardening and plants as I have grown helping in a plant nursery. I have self taught myself to play the ukulele, the electric and acoustic guitar, I am not an expert but I can share a bit of my knowledge in that area. I have some customer service skills wich I have learnt in the past few months, by working in cafés and bars.

Soy una artista habilidosa y me encantaria enseñar y aprender sobre este tema. Estoy muy interesada en pintar murales y puedo ayudar con cualquier pintura que se necesite en el lugar. Sé un poco de jardinería y plantas ya que he crecido ayudando en un vivero de plantas. Aprendi sola a tocar el ukelele, la guitarra eléctrica y acústica; no soy una experta pero puedo compartir un poco de mis conocimientos en esa área. Tengo habilidades de atencion al cliente, que he obtenido trabajando en cafés y bares en los ultimos meses.
