We are a couple, Magali & Hector, who have travelled their fair share, and we have made the leap from nomad to being guardians of a piece of nature.
We live in a rural area called Cañada de Alvarez, at the south end of the Calamuchita Valley, which is part of the Sierras Comechingones, in the Province of Cordoba, Argentina.
Our farm has 4 has, with a stream, and a lot of free space to reforest, which is one of our main goals. We are close from a really nice river to which we can go for a swim, and several hiking spots.
As for our long term project we have started producing heirloom seeds, given their importance in restoring and maintainig agrobiodiversity.
Our livinghood is very simple and for now shared with goats, chickens and guineafowl . For the time being we are autonomous in terms of veggies, and we'd like to add alpagas to the mix.

We have both been certified in Permaculture (in France) and Magali is a licensed organic agricultural farmer, with a specialization in medicinal & aromatic plants, so in our farm you can learn techniques for producing your food in dry places.
The biggest help which we're seeking involves natural building, more specifically, for the restoration of a couple of "adobe" (clay) traditional buildings which are present in our place. As we don't have much experience in this we are looking for experienced people to guide us.
We're beggining to build a subterranean winter house, so we need to make a lot of clay bricks.
All kinds of manual skills would help us.
Plant native and fruit trees and take care of the one already planted.
Controlling exotic and invasive plant species is another big thing for which we could really use a hand.

We have a spare room with 2 beds. Mainly food is vegetarian but we are not strict about incluiding meat in the menu from time to time.
We have a lot of books so reading and "siesta" is part of daily life. From here you can go for a hike.
There are no buses around, and the nearest village is at 12km, so if you decide to visit we will be probably picking you up at a village bus station (Berrotaran, La Cruz, Embalse i.e.).
