Beschreibung

Hello, we are Brian and Levinia from England. We have been married for 31 years and have two grown up children. We have recently taken early retirement from our jobs in schools and nurseries and while still young at heart, we want new challenges and experiences.

I have been a school caretaker for the last 12 years which involved maintaining the school, keeping it safe and presentable, although not a builder I am quite confident and able in dealing with most day to day repair jobs. My wife has been a nursery school manager for 20 years, working with young children and staff.

We are now able to pursue our own interests of travelling and immersing ourselves in nature, especially birds.

As a mature couple, we are looking for a quieter environment where we can put our skills to good use to help you - a mutual benefit to us all. Our jobs in England were busy and varied but always involved dealing daily with people - helping and welcoming them to the schools. We have both often helped with local children's groups such as Church groups and running an Eco-Club at the school.

We like to read and cook and love nature and bird watching, we go on long walks and have participated in local wildlife surveys with various organisations that we belong to, as we feel our small input can help to make a big difference.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am able to do most do it yourself jobs and general decorating around the house and at work. I enjoy a project, planning and seeing a job through to the end. I set up an Eco Warrior club at my school teaching the children about recycling, conservation and how to care and protect the school environment, building bug and animal homes, planting hundreds of trees across the school and conducting citizen science projects like Garden Bird Watch and a re-wilding projects in conjunction with local wildlife organisations.
I have previously had an allotment which we ran organically growing a variety of fruit and veg, utilising natural composts/feeds and pest controls.
