Hi, I’m Sylvana, 45 years young (though honestly still feeling 30, both in body and mind 😉). Right now I’m traveling through Greece and planning to head over to Turkey next.
Back in Germany, I worked at a hotel front desk, helping out wherever needed – whether at the bar, preparing breakfast, organizing events, or even cleaning rooms. I’ve also spent several seasons in Austria working in ski resorts.
Traveling has always been a big part of my life. I spent a year in Canada on a work & travel adventure, where I worked in a hotel in Banff, on farms (gardening, animal care, horse riding, cooking), and at a scuba dive resort (helping with building projects, cooking, and looking after guests). I also had a four-month trip through Australia and Thailand, worked for eight months in a hotel on Lanzarote, and volunteered in Nepal (cooking, harvesting, gardening, childcare). I also spent some time traveling and volunteering in Vietnam, Portugal and Spain.
I enjoy trying out different kinds of work – it keeps things exciting and I often discover new skills along the way.
I love meeting new, inspiring people from all over the world. I’d describe myself as easy-going, positive, authentic, empathetic and someone who enjoys a good laugh. I’m passionate about nature, spirituality, yoga, sports, and like to do all kinds of creative projects. At the same time, I’m hardworking, motivated, and never afraid to get my hands dirty.
