Beschreibung

Hey there! We're Sven Fritsch and Sven Bode,
but just call us Fritschi and Bode. We love exploring new things and gaining new skills. Nature doesn't scare us – we actually enjoy skiing, cycling, and swimming. We're also super excited about checking out what's beyond Germany, experiencing different cultures, trying out new food, and getting inspired by new ideas.

My family fully renovated the house and I had to help. Simple paint, carent, or electrical jobs are no problem for us. Our family has quite a bit of acriculture. Orchard, vines, garden and a lot of forest keep me up for work all year. I`m in charge of cutting the grass and have to help out during the harvest and other big events, like cuting trees for fire wood during the winter. I also like to repair simple electronic devices and could provide some knowledge on this aspect. I grew up with a guard dog, raised a Labrador and really enjoy the company of them.
So if a helping, animal friendly, hand is needed, I consider myself quite skilled :)

My buddy likes to paint and worked as a carpenter for about a week as a practicum. Hes quite skilled with computers. Our skills both overlap and we form a good and skilled team together.

We've been traveling since October and have picked up some handy skills along the way. We helped renovate a mountain cabin, taking on tasks like insulating an attic, tiling a bathroom and living room, painting, working with concrete, and carpentry. We’ve also chopped wood for heating and helped with general housekeeping in a B&B.

We've heard that the Scandinavian countries are pretty advanced in renewable energy, and we're hoping to learn a bunch from the lifestyle. And, of course, we can't wait to see the northern lights!

We got into this whole Workaway thing because our adventurous family and friends told us about it. The idea of working and traveling, plus having direct cultural exchanges, sounded awesome to us. We both eat meat, but dont mind going on a healthy vegen/vegetarien diet.

So here we are, ready for this exciting journey!

Hi; Wir sind Sven Fritsch und Sven Bode
nennen uns aber selbst immer als Fritschi und Bode.
Wir sind an dem großen Ungewissen interessiert und möchte sehr gerne neue Skills/Erfahrungen sammeln. Vor der Natur schrecke wir nicht zurück und fahren gerne Ski, Fahrrad und staunen immer wieder bei ihrem Anblick.
Wir beide möchte herausfinden was es noch außerhalb Deutschlands gibt und neue Kulturen/Essen und Inspirationen/ Ideen erleben :). Die Skandinavischen Länder sind uns als sehr fortgeschritten in Bereich der erneuerbaren Energien bekannt und erhoffen uns von dort einiges zu lernen. Die Polarlichter dürfen dabei als must see natürlich nicht fehlen.
Durch meine Abenteuer Familie und Bekannte bin ich auf Workaway gestoßen und von dem Konzept des Work and Travel und direktem Kulturaustausch fasziniert worden.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We graduated as Mechatronic engineers and have basic knowledge about electric Wiring, Soldering ect. In his free time Fritsch repairs household devices for fun and can help by such problems. Field work and maintenance around the house and garden aren't a problem either for us.
We don't hecitate when it comes to Basic Woodworking like chopping wood or DIY projects with creative solutions needed. To some degree we´re able to help with carpenting work.
We can also help you with Computer problems due to our daily use of it :)
