Beschreibung
Hello, my name is Agust and I live in a farm in the south of Iceland. On the farm with me lives also my partner, my son Jón 22 year a old, daughter Álfheiður 14 years and my partners children Máney and Krummi 16 and 18 y/o . I have 3 other older daughters Hildur, Elísabet and Kolbrá and 6 grandchildren who live around Iceland.
The help is about helping around the house and farm. The help is quite versatile and flexible.
We require that the workawayer has an driver's license. We have a car that the "workawayers" can sometimes use if they want to go to town or maybe do some sightseeing, I am very keen that the people who come here experience the beautiful landscape that is around us
I have had a lot of people come here and stayed with us through the years. People from all over the world and we are still in good contact.

They would live in a Icelandic farm home and get to know the life we live here.

Please note: this is not a business placement. Workawayers help with light, everyday tasks as part of our life, around our home and daily farm routines. The work is not related to rentals or guest services.
We live on a farm with cattle, sheep and horses. Most of the animal work is done by me, I would love if you would want to join in and help with simple tasks such as:
* checking animals and water
* helping with feeding (seasonal)
* light cleaning/tidying in the barn area
* general help around the home
Horse riding is not required, but if you’re interested we may be able to arrange a ride.

A bedroom inside out house. The house is 200 fm with 6 bedrooms and with 2 bathrooms. Our home would be your home.

You can do what you want with your time off and we can help you to find some hobby or something to do. There are many interesting things to do here in Iceland. We would require that you have driving licence so you can drive around, we live 10 km from the next village and about 110 km from Reykjavik. We live very close to amazing nature and view such as Eyjafjallajökull, Vík, Skógarfoss, Seljalandsfoss etc.

He was always happy and so nice to be around. He did all kind of work, great with animal and a excellent cook.
